How did you travel to the Algo Trading Conference today?
I flew all the way from Dubai to Melbourne. To be honest, yes, I’m very excited to be here. You know, like I haven’t been to Melbourne in a long time too.
What challenges have you faced in your trading?
When I was doing it, it was manual. So that’s a bit of a hard way to do things. Sometimes there are trades which you missed because either you’re not at home, or you’re sleeping, or you just couldn’t be bothered by it.
Also with the strategies, sometimes they work and then all of a sudden they stop working. And you know, it starts playing psychologically in your mind and then you give up.
What led you to automated trading as a solution to these challenges?
A few years back when I signed up with Trade View. I was doing some trading previously as well.
And to be honest, I couldn’t stand sitting in front of the screen all day. So I thought if there was an algo that can do the trading for me, then it would be better; so I can do other things.
What motivated you to start using the Trade View X platform for algo trading?
I kind of enjoy trading; and I also like the idea of having robots or expert advisors doing the trading for you, which frees up a lot of your time.
Rather than just sitting in front of your screen all day, you can do other things while that EA or robot or algo is trading for you. So, you know, it’s just more efficient. You’re using your time more efficiently.
