Upgraded Carry Trade Model | Trading Talk Episode 385 | Trade View

Hi traders,

In this week’s episode of Trading Talk, we revisit the USDCHF carry trade model introduced last week — now upgraded with a built-in sequence of 10 trades, each managed using a smart trailing stop method. This structure allows for flexible trade stacking while maintaining risk control.

We also return to the Single Trade Entry Challenge, where one of our traders, Tom, submitted a straightforward model and simply said, “That was easy.” His logic delivered solid performance — a great reminder that sometimes less is more.

On the performance side, the My First Algo Pack has now returned +8% since launching in February — another milestone for those taking their first steps with real-time models.

And finally, if you’re looking ahead, the Algo Trading Conference is shaping up to be our strongest yet. More speaker announcements are coming soon, so make sure you’re registered.

Key Points

  • 10-trade sequence with trailing stop logic added to the USDCHF carry trade model
  • Simple but effective single trade model from Tom highlighted in the challenge
  • My First Algo Pack up +8% since February launch
  • Reminder to register for the upcoming Algo Trading Conference
